Has anyone tried to delete old log information from sitetracker. For example, how do I delete all log in 2006?

You would have to get down to the database level to do this. SiteTracker is based on phpOpenTracker (http://www.phpopentracker.de/) but I don't believe the API has any calls for deleting logged data.

Generally, free tools like Google Analytics have far outpaced what SiteTracker/phpOpenTracker can do, so for new sites I generally set up and recommend something like Analytics instead, especially for larger sites since large data volumes can slow the SiteTracker interface down quite a bit, whereas an externally-hosted service can be set up more optimally for this sort of task.

I've been thinking about an update to SiteTracker with more charts and better integration with Sitellite (for example a button to pull up stats for the current page directly in the web view), but I'm not sure it's worth updating considering the duplication of features of existing tools.

It's too bad Analytics doesn't have an accessible API, or something like that could easily be built using that...
